Damon Hill leads Jacques Villeneuve off the grid at the start of the 1996 Canadian Grand Prix at Montreal. Damon had won pole position by just 0.02 of a second and went on to beat the Canadian in his "home" race by 4 seconds. This was to be Damon's fifth win of what was to be ultimately a World Drivers Championship season of 8 victories. Damon is seen here leading Villeneuve, Alesi, Irvine and Hakkinen. Michael Schumacher's grid place is vacant as he had to start from the back of the grid.
