Austrian Jochen Rindt in a Lotus 72 leading Jack Brabham in Brabham BT33 at Stirling's Bend during the 1970 British Grand Prix at Brands Hatch. The Australian triple World Champion's Brabham was leading on the last lap but ran out of fuel and Rindt went on to win. Rindt was to die in a crash later in the year during practice before the Italian Grand Prix at Monza. His Championship points total which included five Grand Prix wins could not be beaten and he became the sport's first posthumous World Champion.
