Jackie Stewart's Stewart Grand Prix team won an emotional first Grand Prix victory at the 1999 European Grand Prix at the Nurburgring. It was the same venue as the last of Jackie Stewart's own 27 Grand Prix wins. Johnny Herbert's Stewart-Ford SF-3 is seen taking the lead from Ralf Schumacher's Williams which has been slowed by a puncture. The cars are leaving the Dunlop curve in front of Mika Hakkinen's McLaren and Ricard Zonta's BAR.
